COVID-19 Announcement

and Future Plans

Just a note about future breeding plans, as we've had many enquiries from various sources (possibly as a result of the current emergency lockdown giving people time to think about puppies).

We did not breed at all during 2020 as the situation not support any sensible way of doing it and the consequences of the emergency needed to be assessed before deciding to introduce puppies into a world where people might struggle to keep them.

As of July 2021 however, we have a litter of Irish Setters - see below.

For English Setters, it will be mid to late 2022 at the very earliest and only then if our current youngster, Paduan Nightingale, is suitable.

It is possible we might have another Irish Setter litter in the Spring of 2022, but that depends on whether we think Molly is ready or whether we want to plan for showing her instead.

If you're looking more long term, we're happy to talk to you and keep your details on file if you want.

As of summer 2021, please note that due to the prevalence of Covid we are restricting numbers of visitors and we do require proof of clear lateral flow tests before any visits. We practise Covid-secure meetings and require masks or other appropriate personal protection. We practise what we preach, therefore if you visit us we will also demonstrate our own test results for your reassurance.

SEPT 2021: PUPPIES HAVE ALL NOW BEEN HOMED

We are delighted to announce that, as of Saturday 10th July, we have been blessed with a litter of 9 gorgeous puppies: 7 boys and 2 girls. The pups will be ready to go to their new homes from September 4th.

There are currently 5 boys available.

We would be delighted to talk to you if you are seeking an Irish Setter puppy as a pet or, additionally, for those seeking to enjoy competing at dog shows with their dog. Mum has the most loving temperament and the Sire is a stunning show champion.

We don't take deposits until potential owners have had the chance to come and meet us and the puppies in person once they're a minimum of three weeks old. We will want to talk to you extensively about your experience with dogs, any relevant setter experience, your household, surroundings, other pets, etc.

The pedigree of the puppies is as follows:

Dam: Paduan Sunny Disposition

Sire: Sh Ch Gwendariff D'Ya Know My Name by Bardonhill JW

We welcome all enquiries and provide unlimited backup and support for the lifetime of the puppy. There's no such thing as a silly question so feel free to ask us anything you like.
